Original ink cartridges (OEM)
The printer companies themselves make OEM cartridges. Original equipment manufacturer cartridges are the most expensive. You can even end up paying more for one colour cartridge than for then colour printer itself!
Why are original ink cartridges so expensive?
There is a lot of competition between the printer manufactures. Sometimes they are even selling printers at a loss. Because of this OEM cartridges are very expensive. The OEM cartridges will however deliver the highest print quality, if money is no concern, buy your cartridges from the OEM.
Tip: You can save money by choosing the right supplier. Even though the cartridges are manufactured by the OEM prices vary a lot.
